How I miss the Japanese sense of service. My café order of tea during the time of hydrangea and iris blooming was served in iris decorated cups with a hydrangea blossom. And I'd sit and contemplate the blossoms. It's a lovely, serene and mind soothing occasion. Could certainly use some similar occasions as I'm rushing to finish the Japanese Edo period novella amidst government upheaval, Christmas family upheavals and local climate change problems.
