AUGUST NEWSLETTER August is blowing in snowy, frosty and cold so I'm warming myself with drafting my Japanese stories which, for this collection, are set in the summer, and cheering myself with running through the pictures of summer in Japan. Like this wisteria. Still waiting for the heart specialist so life's a little precarious. I'm hoping for a pacemaker but it's not necessarily possible. It means I'm frantically trying to get all my stories out into the world whilst I have time. Adam's Tale, the YA book, is ready for the last rewrite. The Japanese stories are drafted out, but that's far from what they might become. Holy Hell, which is the memoir of what happened to St Luke's and its parishioners, because our church hierarchy failed us, should have been finally edited, but my editor is away. And I've fifty or more short stories which need making publishable! I'm scared of running out of time. BEWARE DEADLINES and catch them if you can.
