The joy of wild flowers. These are Canadian Prairie wild flowers, Lady's Slipper Orchids, growing in a roadside ditch. There are still places on the Saskatchewan Prairie which blaze with a glorious range of colours during the brief time the wild flowers bloom. It surely lift the spirits to see them. I hope in the July selection of free and bargain books you'll find some to read and lift your spirits.
I apologise to those of you, like me, who shudder at those few Romance cheese cake covers in the lists. Slide past quickly for there are many more attractive covers and non-romance novels. The Smashwords sale offers 100s of books and many are non-fiction too.
