JULY NEWSLETTER
July,
and the weather is crazy. In a sheltered pool in the Botanical gardens (
the municipal garden or Park) I found a water lily flowering! We've had
the warmest winter for over one hundred years. My spring bulbs are
flowering now. As the state of the world has hardly improved I hope
you'll find some escapist reads to entertain and strengthen your reserve
to keep hoping and smiling to cheer up your friends, family and
co-workers.
Writing
going well, thank you! I've just turned into ebooks ten of my older
short stories which have been previously published in journals and
magazines. There should be some of them in the Smashwords sale. The
novel is stalled, the novellas are roughly first drafted. I want
everything finished in time for my 80th birthday next year so I can have
a grand birthday party and book launch and relaunch of all my books in
new covers and fancy printing. Oh, for more time!!!
More
historical books this month and I did hardened my heart against their
pleadings and refused most of my fellow authors' mystery/thriller, SF
and Fantasy promotions or we'd have been inundated again, but it is hard
to say No.
